A young man diagnosed as a psychopath has revealed four emotions he's incapable of feeling.

Loïc de Marie, who has anti-social personality disorder (ASPD), discussed his condition to dispel the myths and misconceptions people have about psychopathy, detailing the "game" he plays to get through life.

The Belgian said many people believe psychopaths have no emotions whatsoever, which is far from the truth.

He told the channel: "People tend to believe that psychopaths don't feel emotion and it is not quite true. We feel emotions but it is shallow emotions like proto-emotions not at the same depth as you.

"We can feel frustration, anger, joy. I can, I'm very happy, I can feel happiness. I can laugh a lot, but never any guilt. No matter what I've done, never. I don't regret anything. I'm going to live once and I'm going to do it for myself. I don't have any regret."

He continued, opening up about how he has to play a "game" to get by.

"When you think like me, you think that everyone around you feels the same way as you," he said. "People are going to say that psychopaths don't know they are psychopaths, but they don't know about psychopathy.

"They think that we are not aware of our condition and yes, it is true, but we know that we are different. That is why we act this way, we play the game; we learn through observation — if you need something from someone, you need to play that game."

In the past, Loïc said he had been criticised for his brash and abrasive tone in interviews, with people suggesting he could be damaging his career prospects.

He added: "I don't give a s*** about what people think about me. I don't need to be loved, I need to do what I have to do, and that is to make people know what is psychopathy, so if people criticise me on the internet, I know my own value."

Highlighting the differences between psychopaths and sociopaths., Loïc explained that as well as not being able to feel regret or guilt, he can't feel remorse or empathy either.

He said unlike psychopathy, which looks at actions without regard to emotions, sociopathy solely reflects a behavioural aspect that triggers people to act in the way they do. Comparing it to ASBD, he said sociopathy was not psychiatric problem, claiming doctors would agree with him.

"Sociopaths can feel remorse or empathy; a psychopath does not have the ability," he remarked. "I never felt remorse; I've never felt bad for what I've done, no matter what I've done."
